MR – Medium Rigid Truck Licence Drive a truck or bus (including a prime mover or mobile crane) over 8t GVM with a maximum of 2 axles. Note: Allows towing a trailer up to 9t GVM. Eligibility Requirements:  Must have held a open or provisional (P1/P2) car licence for at least 12 months.  Must pass the QLD Transport Heavy Vehicle Theory Test (can be completed online or on the day of your practical test). MC – Multi-Combination Truck Licence An MC (Multi-Combination) Licence allows you to operate the largest heavy vehicles on Australian roads, including:  B-Doubles: Prime mover towing 2 semi-trailers (front semi-trailer supported by and connected to the rear trailer).  Road Trains: Motor vehicle (other than a B-Double) towing 2 or more trailers. Eligibility Requirements  Must have held a Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) licence for at least 12 consecutive months. Course Overview & Competency Our MC training equips you with advanced heavy-vehicle operational skills, including:  Systematic and efficient control of all vehicle functions  Safe coupling and uncoupling of multi-trailer setups  Continuous traffic monitoring and road condition assessment  Heavy vehicle performance and load distribution management  Proactive hazard management and emergency responses Course Structure  Theory & Assessment: Interactive theory sessions (individual or small group).  Practical Training: 1-on-1 practical driving instruction with an expert trainer.  Competency Assessment: 1-on-1 Final Competency Assessment (FCA) aligned with TMR QLD standards.  Training Hub: Exclusively conducted at our Hemmant training location. Qualification & Licensing Outcome Upon successful completion of your assessment, you will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) for TLIC4006 Drive Multi-Combination Vehicle, issued by Queensland Transport and Logistics Training Pty Ltd (QTLT) — RTO 40931. Simply present your Statement of Attainment to any TMR QLD Customer Service Centre to have the MC endorsement added to your driver licence.
